The Whispers of the River and the Tree is an enchanting musical extravaganza that brings to life the story of the Paschimavahini Krishna. Performed by over 40 artists, including Vandya Mahesh and other acclaimed Bharatanatyam dancers, led by renowned dancers & choreographers Poornima K. Gururaja and Badari Divya Bhushan, this grand spectacle takes you on a spiritual and cultural journey like no other.
Set against the backdrop of an ancient temple, a river and a tree, the performance delves into centuries-old stories, weaving together the rich tapestry of history, devotion, nature and human emotions. Through mesmerising dance, soul-stirring music and gripping narration, you will witness the tender love of a bride and a groom in an arranged marriage, the sorrow of losing a loved one, acts of selflessness, the thrill of discovering hidden treasures, poise of nature as she patiently observes, and a myriad of profound emotions.
